Hair Not Necessary will begin with our filmed podcast, hosted by Dionne Lewis-Reid and Thanyia Moore, creating a space for honest conversations, laughter and shared experiences. But we want those conversations to continue beyond the screen. Throughout 2027, we'll bring our growing community together through a series of exciting social events, beginning with an intimate lunch or drinks gathering in April, followed by a fun-filled summer social in July and a live podcast and networking event in October. Each gathering will offer something different, from conversations about confidence, beauty and identity to fashion, entertainment, karaoke and simply enjoying great company. Our first year will culminate in December with the Hair Not Necessary Black Tie Ball, a glamorous evening celebrating the women, friendships and community we've brought together. We're ending our first year in spectacular style with the Hair Not Necessary Christmas Gala, a glamorous black-tie celebration of beauty, individuality, confidence and community. Join Dionne, Thanyia and an incredible gathering of women for an unforgettable evening of elegance, entertainment, laughter and connection. Expect fabulous outfits, delicious food, music, dancing, special guests and a few surprises along the way, all set against a stunning backdrop of purple, white and gold.
